๐Overview
Cradle Cap, medically known as infantile seborrheic dermatitis, is a common skin condition characterized by thick, yellow, or brown crusty patches on a baby's scalp. These oily scales are generally non-inflammatory and can occasionally appear on other parts of the body, such as the face, ears, or skin folds.
The condition typically develops in early infancy and is not caused by infection, allergies, or poor hygiene. In most clinical observations, the patches are neither painful nor itchy and often resolve spontaneously as the infant grows older.
